Gardena Warranty

Gardena warrants all Gardena products for a period of 24 months (valid for Europe). The warranty corresponds to the state of the art at the date of purchase taking into account the intended use of the product. For all combi-system garden tools and manually held secateurs (garden secateurs, loppers, hedge clippers and grass shears) that have been bought within Europe after the 1st June 2005, the warranty period is 25 years provided the tools have been applied for private use only.

Condition to the warranty is that the original receipt indicating date of purchase and description as well as the defective tool are presented.

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, particularly on blades, fixation elements of the blades, turbines, illuminants, fan belts and drive belts, impellers, air filters, spark plugs and damages caused by improper use, particularly non-compliance of the operating and maintenance instructions.

In case of repairs or modifications of the construction the customer has made on his own, or if other than the original Gardena spare parts have been used the warranty also becomes void.
In case of a justified warranty claim we are entitled at our choice to repair or to exchange the defective tool free of charge. Further claims exceeding this warranty do not exist.
